Hartman was established as Bemico, in the Netherlands, in 1968. Within 10 years the company had grown massively, and was already exporting its products to various countries across Europe. In 1988, during relocation to a new headquarters, the company changed its name to Hartman Group.
Although the company first made its name in the manufacture of plastic furniture, they have grown and expanded to incorporate wicker, teak, and aluminium furniture. The range of materials, as well as the great looking designs, means that there really is a Hartman furniture set out there for everybody.
