Teak is synonymous with longevity. It is a dense, close-grained hardwood that naturally
contains high levels of oil. These qualities enable the wood to withstand exposure to extreme
weather conditions.
This innate strength is enhanced through our use of the best grade of raw
material, kiln-drying, mortise and tenon joinery, as well as stainless-steel fixtures and fittings.
If left untreated the teak will gradually transform from its original golden brown to an elegant
shade of silver. If the former colour is preferred it can be maintained by applying Bramblecrest Teak Protector.
